I don't even blame the people who didn't interfere. As hard as it is for this victim to accept, sometimes it isn't so obvious that two people rolling about in the dark are engaged in something non-consensual. Many people avert their eyes and try to ignore "private" behavior in dark corners of public places. We call it minding our own business. We think that if simply averting our gaze spares our sensibilities, then our sensibilities aren't being violated sufficiently to warrant disrupting the "private" behavior.
Agreed, TSA gets a pass on this from me.
One thing: "There’s no security there to yell out to" yet "two janitors passed by during the attack". Out of earshot ?
And the BDOs fail in detecting terrorists too.
Probably "somewhere else in the terminal".
