9w 73H Exit Rows 17/18??

Wondering what the deal is now with the Exit Row seats - are they stuffing more pax into planes, as the exit rows have gone from 14/15/16 (take out 1 or 2 rows for various (earlier) configs) to 17/18??

What's up with this?
