I've had some fabulous breakfast buffets, when I've had them included in a hotel rate package. Every time I was so glad to have them, and I'm positive I have more energy and a better mood when I set out sightseeing after eating one of those breakfasts. Other times, I've refused to pay the breakfast price, and it's never worked quite as well, either for getting out of the hotel in a timely manner, or for energy.
