When my grandfather was at school with his three brothers, they were addressed as Lastname Maximus, Lastname Major, Lastname Minor, and Lastname Minimus

Both my grandparents used Master when referring to my cousins and I in the 3rd person. I seem to recall my Mother did too though not as often.
