Well if i would have been stopped, the total amount I would have payed included the taxes and customs would be about the same as I would pay for a brand new one here in Norway.

The Mac is $2000 in the US. Then I would have to pay 25% taxes ($500) and then 11% in customs on top of that ($275) The total price would now be $2750. In Norway the list price is about $3000, so $250 in savings, are definately not worth the hassel..!
Add to that there it will be quite difficult to get warranty service in Norway on what is at best grey and probably illegally imported equipment...
