I'm getting this offer pretty much every time I check in lately. I guess the system sees that I have status but do not have a SC membership. In any case, I have to wonder if this isn't part of the reason why the SkyClubs are being reported as being overcrowded lately.

I have a SC membership and I still get these offers. Just seems to me that it goes to everyone. Hopefully not many people are taking them up on their offer. I doubt a lot of casual travelers will want to pay for this after paying the checked bag fees.
