Okies, read/seen again.

1. 100% agreement with BBB. Sit down, with seat belt fastened until the jet's safely docked and shut down. That is one BIG lesson for all the DYKWIAs [no disrespect to our own DYKWIA, who is undoubtedly not that stupid].

2. Ground scenario ... interesting. It appears the CRJ wasn't fully on the stand - was that because of the white pickup cutting across in front?

3. I can imagine the AF captain was busy with pre-takeoff admin and checks. However, avoidance of ground obstacles is the pilot's responsibility, not ATC who advise in most circumstances.

My score ...
CRJ = innocent victim of bullying by AF.
AF = reckless endangerment.
ATC = contributory factor, by not noticing the CRJ was clear of the taxiway.
Truck driver = possible infringement of vehicle lanes.

That's my 2.5 pence
