British Airways New First Class

My Family & I traveled back from Dubai yesterday in the new BA first cabin. My brothers are aged 9 & 12 and I however are 15. The first class check-in desk had a que longer than that of the club desk, some of the business class passengers chuckled at this.

The Dubai Lounge was a business class lounge which provided light snacks. It was crowded, but still very comfortable. Priority boarding was given to us and all the premium passengers used a separate gate, a nice touch. When we got on board my brothers were ecstatic to get the new first and I was also rather pleased. The seat is very comfortable and accommodated a range of positions. The new suite may not be quite A380 standard, but was very comfortable given we were on a single deck aircraft, 777.

The service I got was the best I had ever had from BA. My Mum felt a little ill at the start of the flight, so guessed who they got to come and see if she was ok? The Capitan! This surly shows BA like to take care of their passengers?

The menu was good and I enjoyed my food choices. We had a connected flight. We had to go through security checks again but the ques were reasonably long, for fast track. Perhaps we just had a bad time of day. On our booking it said we would have to use the First Gallaries lounge , not the concorde room , for our connected domestic flight. However the First Gallaries Agent refered us to the Concorde Room , I guess we just had long walk for nothing. The concorde room was crowed also, but resumed it good rep.

We we arrived home, of our connecting flight, our baggage and all the other priority customers seemed to come off last, this was of slight annoyance.

On the whole, BA gave me a good travel experience and everyone was happy so I would assume for this flight :-::-::-::-::-: Stars!
