But is there anyone to help us carry two heavy bags or we have to do it ourselves? I have seen people helping at International Airport when we pay them. But don't know abt domestic airport. Does the bus driver help to carry the bags?
welcome to ft jiya,

Are u taking the same airline from Kol to BOM and then to US ?
Anyway, in BOM domestic terminal you will usually find porters or folks helping pax to pick up luggage if u are on Jet / KF atleast.. U should get a trolley and ask them or nearby pax to help put the stuff on the trolley.. But from my experience, moving the luggage from domestic to terminal by shuttle will be ur responsibility unless u r on same or airline which has interlined the baggage in cal ..
For the most basic scenario, ask some fellow pax or airline contracted person to help put the bag on the trolley , push the trolley to the bus, there the bus person will put it on the bus and also take it out in intl terminal, ask him to put it on trolley and then during check in u will have the airline check in porter to help u..
Like this, u will not need to pic up the luggage even once hopefully..
Depending on your airline from CCU to BOM , check with them on facilities in baggage hall and if baggage can be tagged in ccu itself and if possible to leave this luggage in domestic - international baggage drop off place..
