Encounters with the post-transition web site: Tips to boost survival odds

The following web site enhancements are covered in this thread:

View Award/fare calendar while using "Change Itinerary".
Easily switch [to/from] Award [from/to] Dollars/Points searches.
Bookmarklets to open companion booking page from, or insert link to it on, the purchase confirmation page.
Book your companion before your new reservation shows up on the future flights page, or if no book companion link is available.
Remove the ad carousel from the main flight search page:
- Via GreaseMonkey Script with Search Page Enhancer and Expert Mode Teaser;
- Via bookmarklet (must apply each time).
Tone down the "too soon" OLCI message and add server time stamp.
Automatically redirect from Master Session Timeout page.
Speedily book multiple Award reservations at schedule opening.
Quickly get to search pages for old awards.
