cheapest: take CalTrain to Santa Clara station, take free VTA to Airport, take hotel shuttle.

second cheapest and faster: take Monterey Airbus from SFO to SJC and take hotel shuttle.

you can probably mix it up with some short taxi rides somewhere in between.
