I've had some 75Ls between MCO/MIA and JFK, as it's easy for AA to fit in a domestic daytime turn from JFK to Florida and back to JFK in time for an evening redeye to Europe. It is a very sweet set-up, even for a two-hour flight. That said, nothing is guaranteed - so no whining if your short flight turns out to be on the old 757 park bench seats.
