It was not VAT though, but the amount Priority Club/IHG reimburses the hotel for your free stay.
(It can't be VAT as 20 % VAT of 0 GBP room rate is 0 GBP...)
This is true, it just sounded close to 20% of £70 which is their usual rate. Glad it was a mistake....the whole point was free accom while I am setting up my business.
