The Dylan thing doesn't surprise me...actually having the concert go ahead at all did (I remember the last attempt a few years ago). Not to hijack the purpose of the thread, but in the same vein, there's a lot of serious crap going down in Beijing now. Over the last month, something has definitely taken a turn for the dark side with crackdowns and disappearances going on. Never seen the official gov't paranoia level this high in the years I've been here.

I really hope it doesn't get to the stage where foreign acts and foreigner-heavy music and entertainment venues get seriously affected. :-(
