FQTV number not allowed on award tkt?
I just booked an award tkt with UA miles flying on AC. My UA Star Gold number shows on my main UA record but not on the AC record. I wanted to book some seats so I called AC to add the Star Gold card and the agent said that they're not allowed to add fqtv numbers to award tickets, and you can't prebook seats on award tickets either. I tried to stress that I just want seats but she just said NO!

Is this really accurate? I suspect I won't be able to check in online either. Having not been on AC before, I don't want it to be a bad experience with a middle seat in row 99.
