Hi,

I'm a Platinum and probably heading to HNL for the first time in a few weeks. Unfortunately, since I will only be there for 3 nights, it looks like I probably won't have time to head to any other islands.

Planning on using points with the 25% off points certificate from last year. Royal Hawaiian and the Moana Surfrider are available, Sheraton Waikiki is not. Looking for beach/pool time, maybe a ride to Pearl Harbor, and some food/bars at night. Probably will rent a car (parking seems free and they are pretty cheap compared to taxi to/from airport). In our 20's, if that makes a difference.

Would like to have somewhat of a modern room at a property that treats Platinums at least a bit better than the average.

So, where should I stay? Appreciate any comments.
