I know. But for the same reason as mentioned by
Rambuster and
weero I prefer not to do this. And until recently the automatic seat assignment worked perfectly well for me and I did not have any reason to gamble by picking a seat on booking (at least not for intra-Europe).
I think there is some glitch at certain outstations when it comes to seating, and both preferences and pre-selected seats are ignored.
If it's same glitch, it does not happen only at outstations. This happened to me leaving FRA also.
As it looks like this is happening to me alone, I'll contact LH to see if they can do something about it. Thanks for the reactions!
