My friends stayed at http://www.champs-elysees-plaza.com/ and loved it. It's modern (but not too modern), has Hermes toiletries, homey. I haven't been there myself and I'm sure it's not at the same level as legends like George V, Plaza Athenee, etc, but you might want to check it out.
