AVML is now officially a hindu vegetarian meal.

VOML is the Vegetarian Oriental (ie Chinese) meal.

This change affects all airlines. I guess the change came into effect cos Asian means different connatations in the UK and the rest of the world. If you ordered AVML once upon a time ago, you'd end up with chinese/thai style vegetarian meals and if you're departing from the UK, you'd end up with Indian style vegetarian meals.

I have ordered the VOML on all my AC flights - even the ones going to Europe and they have been quite nice! Now I'll find out what the meals are going to be like from FRA to YYZ next month !
