Y cabin layout on transatlantic 777, bulkhead/bassinet location

I am flying SFO-FRA with infant on lap on a Y award ticket. I was not able to get the seat where the bassinet can be attached to the wall by calling multiple times well ahead of time, seems that UA does not assign this until the airport (while both LH and LX were happy to accommodate me via 2 minute phone call). I am very concerned about not being able to get the seat with the hanging bassinet, and have searched extensively through the forum to find a bunch of folks who didn't get the bulkhead with infant, and many who got the floor bassinet (which i think i a joke, i can't imagine keeping the baby on the floor in front of the seat during 11 hr flight and presumably seating cross-legged in Y seat).

I am willing to pay for E+ to move to the front and can see availability of seats in row 17 on a 777 plane, which is the bulkhead (business class is in front of it), but cannot tell if there is wall separating the two (in which case the bassinet can be attached), or just a curtain, in which case there is still more legroom but hanging bassinet is out of the question.

If anybody here flies SFO-FRA or SFO-LHR (I think they use 777 plane on this route extensively) a lot and can tell me whether bassinet would go into row 17, I would much appreciate. Paying a $109 for this would be totally worth it if it secures me a bassinet location.

Thanks a lot!

On a flip side, if the bassinet cannot be secured, I am considering flying LH (holding another res) and they already gave me a bulkhead seat where bassinet works. Some European policies are just more enlightened
