Done deal. If you wanted the $$ you needed to ask for $$ then. Once you told them you'd take the points they were off the hook. BTW - you're only entitled to 500 points total. It's a Platinum arrival gift of 500 points for the Platinum member. If you get 1,000 points (ie, they screw up again & do it for both rooms) consider yourself lucky. And lesson learned.
