I also wanted to know what SQ is, I am assuming that is the intials for Qantas Airlines??
You had mentioned about the extra 220.00 if I go through Vancouver, do you know what the taxes would be if I went through LA with Air New Zealand.
Thanks everyone
What you can do to ensure you got all the flights if book the trip in reverse and then call back and change it (+ change fee) to the correct direction.
So you book it SYD-YVR-YEG (in May or June in Y) and YEG-YVR-SYD on the days you want.
You then call back when your return is +330 days and change the SYD-YVR-YEG from May/June to July in J.
of course you will have to pay the change fee per ticket.
This is what I did when booking my trip. I decided to do the following with my SYD trip this coming July in J.
YAM-YYZ-LAX(STOP)-RAR(STOP)-SYD(TURN)-YVR-YYZ-YAM.
So we have two days in LA and 1 week in RAR (Cook Islands) and 2 weeks in SYD. I booked a side trip to Cairns (CNS) for a week.
LAX-RAR-SYD is on NZ. However these are old 763 planes and they do not offer flat seats.
I booked +330 days to the day and I still did not get my YVR-YYZ trip in business returning to Toronto as I had to call the contact centre when they opened and could not do it online @ midnight. Somebody grabbed them before me.
