F should be a special experience for everybody but it's been cheapened by all these 2-4-1's, Chase deals, Tesco, etc
That said, the constant chipping away of parts of the premium product upsets me and is a concern. I wish those who authorise these cuts would look closer about at how this is affecting people's perception of the product.
It must be financially viable and in the current climate I think every business has to compete for custom.
My experience over the last 20 odd years has mostly been positive with BA and I like the product and staff having done mostly Y. I have recently been fortunate to do numerous WT+, CW quite a few times and 4 flights in F (paid by moi and always leisure) I agree that F should be a special experience and some of the staff who work there should remember that. I was basically told on a recent 12 hour flight by CC quote " you know the drill, if you want anything just press" which is different from the blatant special treatment of seperate travellers Mr 1A (Silver) and Mrs 1K (OWE) who were given far more attention than any of the other customers.
The plane toilets were a disgrace and the cabin very, very tatty. BA should realise that sometimes it's not that special which is sad.
