I'm sorry you were Disappointed. F all comes down to the Purser working in that cabin and whether the CSD is customer-focused. I still think BA F on the 744 is ahead of AF on their 777s. I admit the service on AF can be amazing because the Chief Purser works in F, but it can be on BA. Funnily enough, the times I've been disappointed by F are the times I haven't seen the CSD. This isn't unique to BA. I admit I've never had a bad EK crew, but I've had plenty of FRA based dragons on LH- and AA FAs can be fantastic or more suited to NYPD.

Also consider BA's global lounges are excellent; LHR T5 is only beaten by LH FCT, etc.

The Asian carriers are good, but I dont find the gap that big really.
