This is very true. Many people, myself included, don't fly for business and in fact don't fly more than say 10-15 domestic and TT sectors a year. I pay for Koru and essentially treat it as a Club Membership which is what it is. As a member I get to use club facilities including seat +, seat selection and premium check in.Sure Air NZ probably come out on the winning side $$$ wise but I don't make a six figure income working to break even on cost.
As far as who is the greater HVC it really is not important. If each individual be they Gold/ Gold Elite or Koru perceives they are getting value for money then "Don't Worry - Be happy"

I entirely agree. As a retired person, I don't fly very often now and flights are TT and to the PI. My Koru membership is important for all those things mentioned. Sometimes I fly Business, sometimes paid, others upgrades but when flying cattle then the Koru benefits come into play.
