Stayed there twice this past October on a layover (not the best location for a layover as the airport is far away, but I needed the stay credits). It was okay, but no where as nice as the truly excellent Starwood properties in Cape Town and Hermanus. As a Platinum, I was upgraded to a Towers room, which was big, but nothing special. The bed was old and did not a duvet, but rather the nasty-a*s wool blanket (under my hotel gradign system, as hotel without a duvet can be ranked no higher than mediocre).
There is a decent steak restaurant as part of the hotel and the Towers lounge has the customary breakfast and evening hors d'ouerves. Unfortunately, I arrived too late for the hors d'ouerves and left too early for the breakfast, so I cannot comment on the quality.
