First time on Delta not getting my upgrade at the window.... Being very flexible, I tend to fly on off days and times.

I have an international flight today, the international portion cleared at the 3 (4) day window but the ATL-RDU portion did not.

This is an award ticket, and I am currently #1 of 12 with 3 seats in First available. I assume that all DM's, PM's and Golds on paid tickets have cleared already and that anyone behind me are Silver's and Companion tickets? Or, since I am flying on an award ticket do I fall behind paid Silvers?

Since this is only an hour long flight, I am not going to be too terribly devastated if I don't get the upgrade but would love to know how it works on award tickets as I have 5 more booked on Delta this year. Somehow, I seem to have LOTS of delta miles to burn thru.....
