I wish we had a W here, but alas, we don't. And I wouldn't characterize any of the Westins as trendy. As for Las Colinas, the Sheraton near the airport is convenient and functional.

A hotel you might be interested in is Hotel ZaZa, in Uptown Dallas (a little north of downtown Dallas and near Highway 75). Check it out at www.hotelzaza.com. I think it's probably the closest you'll get to a W.
