I have a confirmed reservation for Florida drive-away promotion. Midsize (Nissan Sentra or similar), $44.99 per week. RQ DRV5 CDP Southwest FF.
I printed the reservation during the reservation process, and also received an email confirmation showing that rate.

When I now bring up the reservation it is showing a higher base rate - $89.99 per week. The rate doubled, with no notification. I know that the reservation says "total approximate charge" but I thought it was "approximate" only for things like changes in tax rates or adding FF #.

Pickup at ORL Amtrak (serviced by HLE at the local Marriott.) #1 Gold member, infrequent renter.

Is this normal? From your experience is this just a fluke and easily corrected? Is it best to email Hertz to get the rate corrected now (before the pickup date)? Or better to wait and handle at pickup, showing the confirmation as proof of the rate? I'm thinking I should get it straightened out now but maybe not true? Are there any magic words needed to more easily make the correction?

Edited to add: I also now see that the RQ DRV5 is not shown on the reservation when I bring it up online. It is definitely on the original confirmation. Why would this happen?
