I have booked a cruise from Australia to Tahiti. I have 183,000 BA miles and a companion certificate. I need to depart from JFK or EWR on 1/21/2012. I am only looking for the one way flight to Australia as I will fly ATN from PPT-LAX and then LAX-JFK.

When I search for flights from JFK-SYD it comes up that BA does not fly that route. When I search for LHR-SYD flights do come up. Can I use miles to fly from JFK-SYD and include the companion certificate?? Availability from LHR-SYD comes up in coach but not Club World. I am intersted in this routing only if I can use the companion certificate and fly business (or first if I have enough miles). If I have to be in coach I will travel via California as it is a shorter transit.
