personal opinion so take with huge grain of salt (especially since I'm on the west coast and my express flying is almost exclusively skywest)...

I prefer the E170 to the CR7 so if you have to take express I'd go for shuttle america first. After that Skywest, in my opinion, has the best service, attitude etc and avoid Mesa at all costs due to annoying seats and awful service.
