I hate to start yet another DL.com thread, but this has gotten out of hand.

I am trying to search JFK-CDG-AMS (AF metal) on a W fare Aug 31, returning LHR-JFK Sep 11. I want to book an I or M fare on the LHR-JFK DL metal return.

First attempt, by price. The W fares show up on the outbound, with returns only showing other W fares with 30+ hour layovers in CDG. Logical.

Second attempt, by schedule, searching with M or higher under advanced search functions. I choose my outbound and return...the outbounds show in Q and the return in T.

I know, I should call DL, and I obviously would when booking (since SWUs are involved). However, it has become virtually impossible for me to even search options without recruiting the help of the DM line. What gives?!
