US Airways, through its reservations system, made a recommendation to me regarding connection time. Their recommendation was that 35 minutes was enough. If US Air tells me I can make a 35 minute connection in CLT, who am I to argue with them? It's (basically) their airport.
I don't mean to pile on here, but 35 minutes should be plenty of time to make a connection in CLT. The problem was the delay out of BOS which made your arrival to CLT late.
I would not want to eliminate the OPTION to book tight (30-40 minute) connections. I know it's a risk whenever I do it. But to me its worth it.
