(and thats almost before you put the laptop in :/. Had a look at the SwissGear ScanSmart Laptop Backpack but can't find it in stock anywhere that offers international shipping. Really need a backpack that'll have space for a laptop plus odds and ends that go in any carryon! favouring a backpack over a messenger bag so to balance weight better
