I traveled with my family this week and, of course, these get filled up with standby's before the GA even takes questions. I was forced to beg and borrow seats on a full plane so my 3 and 6 year olds did not have to sit next to strangers.
A VERY rude GA in Dallas today gave me an earful along the lines of "you elite flyers think we owe you the world. Well you are wrong. The bulkhead is first for special needs and next for standby's."
Really?????
Interesting I did not even mention I was Diamond but rather only that I was flying with my family and we were all split up. He continued "My ONLY goal is to get these people on that plane and get it out of here. I have NO obligation to help you get seats together with your family. You have no idea of the logistics it takes to get this plane loaded and out of here."
When I encounter rude service at hotels, airports, or on aircraft I take their picture on my phone camera and send it, along with a narrative, to the CEO of the appropriate company.
Everyone now has a camer on the phone and employees need to be reminded of this.
