If you read my post about an
arrest that ended in a dismissal possibly being a disqualifying factor (That is not stated on the
www.globalentry.gov website, but as you can see, it is mentioned in the Federal Register publication), I would have to say that a
conviction, even a sealed one (because law enforcement can still have access to sealed records, potential employers cannot) is definately a disqualifying factor, since it is specifically mentioned on
www.globalentry.gov as a reason for ineligibility. However, some states allow certain cases to be expunged, meaning that it is simply not sealed, but that all records relating to the case are destroyed. This is only available if the case meets a certain criteria, which varies from state to state, and as I said, only some states allow this at all. Hope this helps. Good luck to you.
