Aer Lingus?

Had the thought to fly LON -> ORD via DUB; essentially recreating something like the BA001 flight (but at a more reasonable price), which offers a quicker departure from the airport in the US. It appears possible to get the connection from BA using code shares; but the LON ->DUB segment is flown on Aer Lingus. I noticed a couple old threads discussing OW code shares flown on non-OW metal, was wondering if these still hold true? (i.e. no AA miles for flying BA code share on Aer Lingus)
