Check to see if you have connection sharing set to "Share a public IP address" under internet in airport utility after selecting your AE.
If you get a warning about double NAT, just dismiss it (ignore it). That's what you want.

Other hotels, it works fine. I didn't try bridge mode. In "bridge mode" they see every device behind the AE.
