Brian, I'm a little surprised you didn't ask for a manager on the spot. Reservations are guaranteed for diamond members. You asked for a non-smoking king and anything other than that is unacceptable.
Is that really a benefit? You can guaranty a reservation at a hotel, but I did not think you were guarantied the specific type of room.
