Here's the thing: those guys who wash your car are probably paid minimum wage or close to it. U gotta figure most of them will grab that Garmin and sell it because it is worth a day's labor to them.
Sorry, but I do not believe that is a fair comment. Yes, the people who work the car returns/washes are low paid/unskilled workers, but that does not make them inherently dishonest- as evidenced by my experience with Dollar. There are a lot of low paid workers whose personal integrity I would trust a damn sight more than multimillionaire executives of blue chip companies.
