As mentioned in another thread I flew 771 on 4/3 MSP-BOS and there was no meal served. Dep 1p, flight time (wheels up/down) 2.05 (must have had a good tail wind), 1124 miles and had no meal service. The flight qualifies for a meal and used to have meal service in the past but for some reason when DL decided to change the flight numbers the meal service went away (used to be DL 2730).

Called DM line tonight and the supervisor was amazed that there wasn't a meal served, first he tried to use the excuse that there wasn't time to load the meal on the plane, but I told him there was plenty of time and that they loaded all the carts before boarding. The current flight schedule shows a meal for the same flight when it departs at 1.01 in a few days, as well as when it leaves at 1.05 or 1.10.

If you are on DL 771 tomorrow, grab a meal at the airport.

First Class complimentary meal times: flights of 900-1500 miles -- breakfast is served on flights departing between 5 am – 9:45 am; lunch is served on flights departing between 9:46 am – 1:30 pm; and dinner is served on flights departing between 4 pm – 8 pm.
