I assume I get relegated right back to Blue from Gold or do I drop to Silver and then drop to Blue the following year (assuming I get to 600 TPswhich I should do)?

- Any idea why BA is just so expensive for Japan and Beijing? The dates I am looking at in Aug for Beijing I cant get £1800 Business with Finnair and its nearly £3000 for Ba. For Japan its around £2200 Finnair and £3000+ with BA. The same applies for South Africa, BA is by far more expensive than Virgin and Emirates

Why not fly with AY and get the TP's if Finair is that much cheaper ?

As long as you have got the 4 BA sectors for your membership year it doesnt matter which Oneworld airline you get the TP's from
