Anyways, to the OP's question, pictures/autographs and the like is not something we are supposed to be doing. Having a brief conversation with a celeb as they are going through the checkpoint is one thing, but I agree that taking pictures with the prize belt is definitely not something a TSO should be doing.

BTW, I've seen those prize belts on the x-ray, they always get checked because they are big and heavy metal and we can't see through them too well. Sometimes the owner is proud to show it off anyway when we do look at it.
