- Currently a Silver with 420 TPs.
- Membership year ends 08 Oct 2011.
- I have a WTP flight to Bangkok coming up so that makes it 150 more TPs.
- A further Europe return coming up which means 20 TPs more.
From what I understand, that means that I re-qualify for Silver?
I have 3 business trips coming up all long haul as follows:
- Return to Cape Town or Johannesburg with three internal flights. Long haul will be business, internals maybe Economy only (not sure yet)
- Return to Beijing or Shanghai.
- Return to Tokyo.
I will be completing all flights by early October.
For Beijing / Shanghai and Tokyo, BA is horrendously expensive so I am planning to fly Finnair which with the stopover in Helsinki I think gives me 360 TPs for each trip. BA is also horrendously expensive for South Africa so probably going to fly to Madrid and then fly Iberia there, with flights to Madrid from LHR being Economy, which I think will give me 260 TPs
Am I right in thinking that once I hit 600 I will be reset to zero and therefore getting to Gold is not possible based upon my forthcoming plans.
Any advices greatly appreciated as always.
You have 420 TP.
Bangkok gives you 150 TP = 570 TP
Europe Return gives you 20 TP = 590 TP
This will not requalify you for Silver

However........
2x360 for your Asia trips: 720 + 590 = 1310 TP
Add to that the SA trip: 1310 + 260 = 1570 TP !!
You're Gold ^
