UA has indicated clearly that they are not interested in either the 748i or A380. The A350 will become the largest aircraft in the fleet after the retirement of the 744s. The widebody fleet will simplify to variations of two aircraft, the 787 and A350. The 767s, 744s and even the 772s will make way for those two aircraft which will certainly streamline operations.
