Based on the pay at ATL, I don't know why anyone would leave the TSA. The people working there couldn't find another job any where near $14 with insurance.

The starting wage for TSA officers at Hartsfield-Jackson is $14.59 per hour. Part-time workers are eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement, paid vacation and sick leave. Job candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals and must pass a background check, among other requirements.

I was running late for a flight and ofcourse I got selected so I had to opt out. I told them to hurry up but that got more slow down. The guy had to repeat multiple times what he was going to touch even though I told to go ahead, I even said I consent go ahead and start and stop talking. He wouldn't do it. Then he had to talk to the supervisor because I wouldn't spread my legs wide enough for him. Supervisor said it was fine. Then he didn't know what to do with an insulin pump and had to ask the Supervisor again. How does someone who doesn't know how to do anything get on the front line? This person shouldn't be allowed to do anything if they don't know the basic rules.
