I requested seats last week through the AA PLT desk for an AA codeshare on IB, MIA-BCN. They wouldnt give me the IB PNR (is there one?) and they said they could request a seat for me, but not guarantee it. I asked for an aisle seat near the front of the Y cabin, if they could not get me an exit row. Calling IB directly was useless.

Today AA.com is showing I have seat 32L on the A346, which is a window seat, even though I requested an aisle. And it's not exactly near the front of the cabin. I guess I'll try my luck at check-in for a better seat.
