I stayed there with family last year and I can only recommend it ^^^ excellent value for very little money at that time

The Aqua Basilea (waterpark) is in the same building and you can take the free shuttle from Aqua Basilea to Pratteln Railway Station which connects you easily with Basle downtown. I can only imagine bad reviews by people who expected this property to be in downtown Basel which it is not.

There are also some evening special at the waterpark which are great if you are staying there with family or like to have a sauna.

Rooms are standard Courtyard with two nice queen beds or a king bed.

Food is great - which usually is never a problem in Switzerland - I would go directly for a rate including breakfast as the breakfast was clearly above Courtyard standard.

Only downturn I would say was the high parking fees.

I have seen that you are living in CPH - I presume you will profit from the great Swiss airfare CPH - BSL. We are planning the same vice-versa in July. Can you recommend a good (up to DKK 1200) hotel for a family of four in Copenhagen? Unfortunately the Marriott Copenhagen wants a bit more than my family budget allows. Is the Scandic Ermitage decent?
