I was not credited within 2 weeks for KIX-BKK so I applied online via UA's site.
A letter arrived last week stating "Booking class not eligible for credit".

I am shocked by this, as there was no indication of this at the time.
The online booking on Thai's site asked me for my program and card #, and they confirmed it was in the system at check in. Nowhere on the eticket is this mentioned, and checking some random itineraries today the website only indicates Royal Orchid 100% of mileage flown, nothing else mentioned.

I paid about 10,000yen more (about 67,000 yen total) than 2 other options because I expected the miles and status bump.

I had been counting on this to get me up to some status level. Pretty disappointing now.

Is there a way to appeal this?
