I tried to book a trip on Delta website today RT MCI to GSO. The website was very slow. When I selected the flights, the fare was $340 RT, but by the time I hit the final purchase confirmation, it had increased to $600+. During the process, I kept receiving the 'turbulence' screen. I called Delta to see if they could give me the original fare, but of course they said that was impossible. My only option to get the lower fare was to book an earlier(4hr) flight through CVG.

Has anyone else experienced these problems? I don't think I should have to pay the higher fare because their website was having problems. There were still plenty of seats on the earlier flights.
